The works for the fantastic Gardaland Aquarium are almost complete.

The works for the construction of the Gardaland Aquarium, to be located next to Italy’s No. 1 Fun Park, are well under way. This structure, built in pure Gardaland style with full focus on the water life theme, consists of a building of 3,500 square metres designed to approach visitors to the world’s various types of fish species, ranging from those living in Lake Garda to the fascinating creatures that populate the oceans.
The new project is strongly education-oriented as it is based on the "edu-tainment" concept, i.e. education through entertainment.
The main building, distributed on two floors, has been built in full compliance with modern environmental impact standards and with special attention paid to the selection of materials and to the choice of settings so as to second the building’s main theme. This means that visitors will have the impression of entering a ship and of discovering one beautiful underwater world after another as they walk through the themed display areas.
The works are currently consisting in the positioning and in the theme-dressing of all of the 35 tanks that have arrived.
The Castelnuovo del Garda Sea Life Theme Park will be the 28th of its kind in the world, part of a chain that since 1979 has extended through Scotland, UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Germany, Ireland, France and the USA.
The opening of this one is envisaged in June 2008. |
