2009: SOLIDARITY TO ABRUZZO

| TOGETHER FOR ABRUZZO Gardaland helped the families struck by the terrible earthquake that shook the region of Abruzzo, Italy. Gardaland demonstrated its solidarity with the population of Abruzzo hit by the earthquake: on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 April, in fact, the Park donated one euro for every admission ticket sold at its ticket booths. The entire sum was donated to the National Civil Defence Department to be used to provide first aid to those who have been struck by this disastrous event. Gardaland’s initiative stemmed from the will to provide concrete proof of its concern for those who in this period are suffering the terrible consequences of the earthquake.  |
