| Project: MARINE BIOLOGY Why are dolphins mammals even though they live underwater? At the Palablu pupils will get to know the fantastic world of dolphins. Biologists will introduce these amazing mammals. After the lesson, it will be possible to admire the dolphins through the big windows of our underwater gallery and enjoy the free show at Palablu. | Project: THAT’S HOW A SHOW IS BORN What is the secret of musicals? Dancing, singing, acting: this is what the show business requires today and what many young people dream to achieve. This project stems from the experience Gardaland has in acrobatic shows, musicals and theatre shows. Pupils will experience the creative process that leads to the realization of a musical (from the script to the score, to the choreographies and costumes…) and learn how it is structured (for example: overture, opening number, production number, finale...). | Project: VOYAGE THROUGH TIME AND THE GEOLOGICAL ERAS Testimonies left by fossil plants and animals of the Secondary and Tertiary Eras Through the examination of fossil finds and the projection of images and pictures, pupils will get to know plants and animals that lived during the past 200 million years and their fossilization process; animals and plants will then be compared to those existing today. | Project: THE ORIGINS OF LAKE GARDA The glacier of Benaco, the mammoths and the man of the Paleolithic This learning unit is about the quaternary glaciations, the functioning of a glacier and the glacial origin of Lake Garda (excavation, exaration and morainic deposition). Through the projection of images, pupils will understand how a glacial ecosystem works and will get to know the prehistoric testimonies of Lake Garda and its inland. | Project: CARTOGRAPHY & ORIENTEERING Orienteering is a comprehensive activity: it involves using one’s body, technique and psychic abilities.
